I am Max Weber Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in Fiesole. I do research on, and I am in general interested in, comparative welfare state analysis, labour market policies and the politics of social policy, which I address through both quantitative and qualitative methods.
I obtained a PhD in Political Science from the Research Training Group SOCLIFE (University of Cologne, University Duisburg-Essen). During my PhD I was InGrid Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Social Policy in Antwerp, and Jos Berghman Visiting Scholar at KU Leuven. Previously, I worked as assistant researcher for the project ‘Percorsi di Secondo Welfare’. I hold an Advanced Master in Public Policy and Social Change from Collegio Carlo Alberto in Turin, a MA in International Labour and Social Policies from the University of Milan, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pavia.
